This is a large regency style gilt overmantle that suits most fireplaces. Customers that are not stuck on the rounded topped mirror love this one. Although this mirror is the same size as some of the other overmantles it looks totally different as its bigger on the top rather than on the bottom which can give it a taller look even though the the extremities of all the 4 foot 6 or 5 foot are exactly the same size they look totally different due to the different shapes. The main frame of this is solid wood but the details are added rather than carved as they would not have had the definition and would have looked clumsy if carved as one unit.
